  90. the playback speed, use the keyfiles within batch 
  91. files, and even launch them unattended at some 
  92. later time.

  164. Playback which is concerned with the delays 
  165. between keystrokes, Otto takes its cues from what 
  166. appears on the screen.  It excels in automating 
  167. modem communications.  If you have Compuserve the 
  168. sample scripts (supplied) can get and retrieve 
  169. your e-mail, get the latest news, sports scores, 
  170. stock quotes, weather, and weather maps and do all 
  171. this unattended, at any time!  And Otto works with 
  172. *your* communications program.  Its script 
  173. recorder creates scripts for you automatically as 
  174. you do the task you want to automate.

  176. |Each program on this list is user-supported 
  177. shareware.  This means you get to try it before 
  178. you buy.  It isn't free, or public domain 
  179. software.  If after a 21 day evaluation period you 
  180. decide to continue using it then you are expected 
  181. to become a registered user.  You register by 
  182. sending in the registration fee.  The fees vary 
  183. for each program, but I believe you'll find them 
  184. to be very reasonable.  They are discussed in the 
  185. instructions for each program.

  187. We believe our registered users deserve additional 
  188. benefits.  The benefits vary with each program, 
  189. however, all registered users get the latest 
  190. version of the software, and receive technical 
  191. support.

  193. |Because the programs on this disk with .EXE 
  194. extensions are shareware, you're encouraged to 
  195. freely distribute them to whomever you wish as 
  196. long as you don't charge anything for the copies.  
  197. Only distribute the files ending with "EXE".

  200. Professional, quality, software takes time to 
  201. develop and support.  Time is often money.  If 
  202. users don't register, then quality software 
  203. developers won't release their products as 
  204. shareware.  That would be everyone's loss.  If you 
  205. find a quality piece of shareware it's important 
  206. you register and help distribute it.  Making user-
  207. supported shareware succeed is the only way I see 
  208. of countering the trend toward ever increasing 
  209. software prices.|
